Bill Miller Bio
Bill Miller IV, CFA, CMT, serves as a portfolio manager at Miller Value Partners. He co-founded and co-manages the Miller Income strategy, which seeks undervalued yield opportunities across various investment types. His investment career began in 2008 at Legg Mason Capital Management, where he worked as a generalist with a focus on specialty finance, consumer stocks, and high-yield securities.
Before entering the investment field, Miller worked as an analyst at McKinsey & Company. He holds an economics degree from Tufts University, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, and an MBA from Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business. Outside of his professional duties, Miller pursues personal investments in Bitcoin, Big League Advance (which offers income share agreements with baseball players), and Tinyhood (an on-demand parenting education platform).
Miller has made appearances in various public forums, including as a guest co-host on CNBC's Closing Bell and Squawk Box. He has also participated in industry-specific conferences and podcasts.
