"Quasi ONE usa Bitcoin per i pagamenti, lo usano più come alternativa all'oro", ha detto giovedì pomeriggio. "È una riserva di valore speculativa".

Powell ha dichiarato in passato che gli Stati Uniti non dovrebbero tornare al gold standard. Alcuni hanno interpretato la dichiarazione come un riferimento a un invito a "abbandonare l'oro, acquistare Bitcoin".
