I regolatori emettono avvertimenti su un piano di investimento "fraudolento" in Bitcoin

L’ufficio della Commissione internazionale per i servizi finanziari del Belize ha affermato che Xmaxbit, un sito websostenendo di offrire servizi di investimento e mining Criptovaluta , non è ufficialmente registrato nel paese. Un documento di registrazione pubblicato sul suo sito webè "una falsificazione completa", secondo l'agenzia.

Il governo del Belizenotato:

"Questa entità non è autorizzata/regolamentata dalla Commissione Internazionale per i Servizi Finanziari o da qualsiasi altra autorità competente in Belize per condurre alcun tipo di attività commerciale."

L'agenzia ha affermato che i visitatori del sito web dovrebbero "prendere nota ed esercitare estrema cautela" alla luce della presunta falsificazione.

Il Belize T è l'unico paese ad accusare Xmaxbit di frode. All'inizio di questo mese, la Seychelles Financial Services Authority ha emesso un avvertimento similesul sito, affermando che Xmaxbit sosteneva fraudolentemente di essere registrato alle Seychelles.

"Si consiglia pertanto vivamente ai membri del pubblico di prestare estrema cautela quando hanno a che fare con Xmaxbit", ha affermato l'ente regolatore.
