Sam Altman Bio
Sam Altman is the CEO of OpenAI, an AI research and deployment company since 2019. He is an American entrepreneur, investor, and programmer.
Altman co-founded and became CEO of Loopt, a location-based social networking mobile application, in 2005, when he was 19. In addition, in 2020, he co-founded Worldcoin. He was previously the president of Y Combinator and, briefly, the CEO of Reddit. He has also invested in nuclear energy and several technology companies. Time magazine selected Altman as one of the 100 most influential persons in the world in 2023.
He studied computer science at Stanford University until dropping out in 2005.
