Michael J. Casey is voorzitter van The Decentralized AI Society, voormalig Chief Content Officer bij CoinDesk en mede-auteur van Our Biggest Fight: Reclaiming Liberty, Humanity, and Dignity in the Digital Age. Eerder was Casey CEO van Streambed Media, een bedrijf dat hij mede oprichtte om herkomstgegevens voor digitale content te ontwikkelen.
