Michael J. Casey is voorzitter van The Decentralized AI Society, voormalig Chief Content Officer bij CoinDesk en mede-auteur van Our Biggest Fight: Reclaiming Liberty, Humanity, and Dignity in the Digital Age. Eerder was Casey CEO van Streambed Media, een bedrijf dat hij mede oprichtte om herkomstgegevens voor digitale content te ontwikkelen. Hij was ook senior adviseur bij MIT Media Lab's Digital Currency Initiative en docent aan de MIT Sloan School of Management. Voordat hij bij MIT in dienst trad, werkte Casey 18 jaar bij The Wall Street Journal, waar zijn laatste functie senior columnist was met een focus op wereldwijde economische aangelegenheden.
