Ether

Ether (ETH) è la criptovaluta nativa di blockchain di Ethereum, funzionando come carburante per le operazioni all'interno della rete. Svolge molteplici funzioni: come valuta digitale, può essere acquistato, venduto e detenuto come investimento; come token di utilità, viene utilizzato per pagare le commissioni di transazione e i servizi computazionali sulla rete Ethereum. Ether è parte integrante del funzionamento di applicazioni decentralizzate (dApp) ed esecuzione di contratti intelligenti su Ethereum, fornendo le risorse necessarie per queste operazioni. Con l’evoluzione di Ethereum, soprattutto con aggiornamenti come Ethereum 2.0, il ruolo di Ether rimane centrale, facilitando non solo le transazioni ma anche l’ecosistema più ampio della finanza decentralizzata (DeFi) e di varie applicazioni basate su blockchain.
