Un hacker che aveva preso di mira Roger Ver ha rinunciato a tentare di accedere ai conti dell'investitore informale dopo che è stata emessa una ricompensa di 37,6 BTC per il suo arresto.
In un post su Facebook di questa mattina, Ver ha detto che stava cercando informazioni sull'hacker "che sta cercando di rubare tutte le mie cose in questo momento". La ricompensa èattualmente valecirca $20.000.

Ha anche rivelato che l'hacker utilizza il nome utente Skype "nitrous".
Ha pubblicato un messaggio simile su Twitter:
Ricompensa di 37,6 BTC per informazioni che portino all'arresto dell'hacker che sta cercando di hackerare tutti i miei dati in questo momento. Dettagli a breve!

Ver ha dichiarato a CoinDesk di aver contattato il colpevole, il quale ha deciso di fare marcia indietro dopo aver appreso della ricompensa per l'arresto.
"Un indirizzo email e un account Facebook che T uso più sono stati hackerati, ma la cosa ha iniziato a diffondersi finché non gli ho detto che avrei offerto una ricompensa di 20.000 $ per il suo arresto, poi si è arreso e mi ha dato la password di tutti gli account hackerati. Pubblicherò tutti i dettagli una volta che avrò finito di bloccare tutto", ha detto Ver.
