Vision (VSN) is a Web3 ecosystem token initiated by the Vision Web3 Foundation, a Swiss-based organisation focused on developing, promoting, and supporting decentralised ledger technology (DLT) ecosystems and Web3 adoption. VSN was launched as part of a token migration plan, merging Bitpanda Ecosystem Token (BEST) and Pantos (PAN) into a single asset.
The token was created to enhance usability, interoperability, and community engagement within the Bitpanda and broader Web3 ecosystems. Core objectives include facilitating on-chain governance, incentivising staking participation, integrating into decentralised applications (dApps), and expanding into third-party platforms beyond Bitpanda.
VSN operates as an ERC-20 token on Ethereum, with planned cross-chain mint and burn bridging capabilities to ensure interoperability across EVM-compatible blockchains. Technical infrastructure for VSN is developed with contributions from Bitpanda GmbH and Pantos GmbH, with governance and funding managed by the Vision Web3 Foundation.
VSN is designed to provide functional utility in the Vision ecosystem through:
VSN does not grant equity rights, dividends, or claims against the Vision Web3 Foundation. Governance rights are limited to on-chain token-related decisions rather than organisational control.
The Vision Web3 Foundation, registered in Zug, Switzerland, is responsible for the governance, funding, and strategic development of the VSN ecosystem. The Foundation’s board includes Bernadette Leuzinger, Fabian Reinisch, and Hans Kuhn.
Technical development and infrastructure support are provided by Bitpanda GmbH, an Austrian-registered crypto-asset service provider, and Pantos GmbH, which specialises in interoperability research and development. Funding for the project includes resources originally raised during Pantos’ ICO, transferred to the Foundation to support long-term operations.
