EA ha pubblicato un tweet enigmatico che ha rivoluzionato il mondo Cripto su Twitter.

Oggi l'account di un brand ha battuto il Twitter Cripto nel suo stesso gioco, prendendo in giro il settore con istruzioni fuorvianti per puntare tutto sulle Criptovaluta.
Nel primo pomeriggio, l'account Twitter di Electronic Arts ha twittato "investire in Cripto", apparentemente senza essere stato sollecitato. Il tweet ha avuto oltre 10.000 preferiti e 4.000 retweet e molti utenti di Twitter hanno suggerito che l'account era stato hackerato.

Noto per i giochi di azione sportiva comeImpazzire E Fifa, il tweet era in realtà una trovata di marketing volta a introdurre un nuovo personaggio nel suo gioco,Apex Legends Stagione 3: Crollo! in uscita questo ottobre. Il nuovo personaggio si chiama "Cripto" – in questo caso riferendosi alla crittografia tradizionale e non al white paper di Satoshi.
In un'apparente conversazione con se stesso, l'account @EAAccess ha chiesto a sua volta: "Fratello, perché fai questo? Deluderai papà". Al che @EA ha risposto: "Ci è abituato".
