Bitfarms, una società canadese di mining Bitcoin , ha dichiarato di aver prodotto il 38% Bitcoin in più nel terzo trimestre rispetto al secondo, grazie all'installazione di nuove apparecchiature per il mining.

  • La società (NASDAQ: BITF) ha estratto 1.050 bitcoin nel terzo trimestre, 305 dei quali a settembre. L'aumento ha portato il totale dei nove mesi a 2.407.
  • A settembre, la società ha ricevuto 540 macchine per il mining, aumentando il suo hashrate, ovvero la misura della potenza di calcolo, a 1,53 exahash al secondo.
  • Sono previste ulteriori consegne nei prossimi mesi.
  • "Con consegne mensili programmate per un totale di 55.000 minatori nei prossimi 15 mesi e nuovi impianti di produzione ad alta potenza in arrivo, stiamo aumentando regolarmente il nostro hashrate per raggiungere i nostri obiettivi di 3 exahash al secondo (EH/s) nel primo trimestre del 2022 e 8 EH/s entro la fine dell'anno 2022", ha affermato il CEO Emiliano Grodzki in una nota.
  • Fino al 30 settembre, la società aveva depositato 2.312 bitcoin in custodia. Ciò equivale a circa il 96% della sua produzione del 2021.
