ETF de Bitcoin

¿Qué es un ETF de bitcoin? Son un vehículo de inversión relativamente fácil de adquirir que posee bitcoin (BTC), la criptomoneda original. Al igual que las acciones, los fondos cotizados en bolsa (ETF) están listados en bolsas, se pueden negociar durante todo el día y están disponibles para su compra a través de cuentas de corretaje normales. Un ETF de bitcoin fue propuesto por primera vez en los EE. UU. alrededor de 2013 por Cameron y Tyler Winklevoss, pero nunca fue aprobado por la Comisión de Bolsa y Valores de EE. UU. (SEC). Varias solicitudes de ETFs están pendientes en la SEC hasta enero de 2024, por parte de empresas como BlackRock, Grayscale, Fidelity, Galaxy/Invesco y Franklin Templeton.
