Bedrock

Bedrock is a multi-asset liquid restaking protocol that enables users to maximize yields while maintaining liquidity on assets such as Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), and IoTeX (IOTX). Its native token, BR, serves as the core utility within the Bedrock ecosystem, facilitating governance participation, yield incentives, and liquidity provisioning.

The BR token has several key functions within the Bedrock ecosystem. It allows holders to participate in governance by converting BR into veBR, a non-transferable voting escrow token. This enables them to vote on protocol decisions such as upgrades, incentive structures and liquidity allocation, with longer locking periods granting more voting power. BR also serves as a reward mechanism, distributed to participants who contribute to the protocol’s growth, including liquidity providers and stakers. Additionally, as a tradable asset, BR can be used across DeFi protocols for lending, borrowing and liquidity provisioning.
