Trusted Node is a non-custodial staking platform where people can stake their cryptocurrencies and become node validators without running validator nodes. Here, validator node refers to a full node that takes part in consensus and is in charge of verifying, voting on, and keeping track of transactions.

The platform aims to offer users immediate access to proof of stake rewards, DeFi yield, and multi-chain governance. It addresses the substantial number of cryptocurrencies still being stored on exchanges and users giving up their staking rewards. Therefore, the solution is to simplify users to reclaim token ownership. Users can secure multiple proof-of-stake networks and their assets by staking with Trusted Node. The platform seeks to provide users complete control over their funds while also increasing their yields through multichain liquid staking. (Liquid staking is the technique of constructing liquid derivatives of staked native tokens, thereby releasing the assets' liquidity and sending it back into circulation.)

According to its whitepaper, the Trusted Node system is an Ethereum DApp with sections accessible to users. The platform aims to enhance the proof-of-stake ecosystems' safety, usability, and durability. This is achieved by enabling all users to engage in staking rewards and decentralized governance directly. The platform allows users to stake their native assets to authorized validators through the staking portal. Users can also learn about current problems for voting and engage in governance through the platform's multichain governance. Users can earn a share of transaction fees by providing liquidity to the Trusted Node ecosystem through the vaults. 

TNODE is an ERC 20 utility token built on the Ethereum blockchain. TNODE allows users to engage in governance by holding the tokens. The token provides liquidity and a mechanism of exchange between native assets and derivatives among all vaults. 

Trusted Node was co-founded by Stefan Rust and Faiz Nazarali in 2021. The token's total supply stands at 1 billion TNODE.
