Mimir Quiz seeks to be the world’s first blockchain-based quiz trivia game. The platform seeks to pay users for their playtime, unlike other trivia games. The trivia game aims to allow users to join the network, partake in the quiz, and earn crypto rewards for their playtime and performance. The platform also aims to allow users to stake the Mimir Quiz’s native digital asset for entering into one-on-one trivia battles and tournaments.

Mimir Quiz offers a staking program that allows players to lock their native crypto holdings on a monthly basis and earn yield in return. Moreover, users pay crypto as entry fees for tournaments or participating in any other event. Next, the platform claims are transferred to the game’s reward pool. The platform states that the Reward Pool will be divided between the Mimir Staking Pool (75%) and the Mimir Prize Pool (25%). 

MIMIR is the native cryptocurrency of the Mimir Quiz trivia game. Built on Ethereum’s ERC-20 architecture, the token is deployed on the Polygon network. Mimir Quiz uses MIMIR tokens to reward the players for playing in live tournaments and one-on-one battles. Likewise, Mimir Quiz aims to disburse a 0.3% yield as staking rewards for users who stake MIMIR tokens for 18 months.  

The platform states that MIMIR is an essential part of the ecosystem and aims to function as a governance token. MIMIR holders can vote on essential decisions related to new games, business strategies, additional functions, etc. Users can acquire MIMIR to partake in the ecosystem via the Mimir native DApp and transfers from existing holders or by claiming rewards. 

Mimir Quiz was first conceptualized in April 2021, while it was launched in November 2021. The platform was founded by Viktor Södermark, the CEO of Mimir Quiz, in July 2021. Södermark is also the founder of GreatSeed Sweden and health drink brands like CHIA Humara and ESSE Drinks. Apart from Södermark, the platform is headed by COO Lukas Johanson. The MIMIR token was launched on November 6, 2021. The digital asset has a maximum total supply of one billion tokens.
