The platform is supported by a LINA token built on the Ethereum blockchain that complies with ERC-20 standards. LINA is a governance token that allows token holders of the platform to vote on distribution models, pledge ration, assets required to be listed, and more. The token adopts an inflationary model to improve staking incentives. The staking of LINA tokens is considered the backbone of Linear’s platform. 

The founder of Linear Finance is Kevin Tai. Another mastermind behind the platform is Drey Ng, tech and product lead of Linear Finance.
