About Generic USD
Generic Protocol is a neutral infrastructure that allows networks and apps to launch their own native onchain dollars with opt-in privacy and yield economics that favour them and their users over an issuer. Generic's economic model injects the yield, otherwise captured by stablecoin issuers, and shares it with the distribution layer to improve sustainability and scale growth of networks and apps. GUSD, Generic's first deployment, is built on Ethereum together with Steakhouse Financial, using Morpho as the yield source.
