Deeper Network is a blockchain-based technology designed to provide a frictionless experience of the internet with enhanced security. The project can function as a decentralized network node and act as robust firewall protection in the home network. Such a project seeks to solve the problem of cybercrime that may cause endless threats and damage the economy severely. Besides, Deeper Network aims to allow users to protect their personal information, username, and passwords, credit card info, etc. Users can also set the parental control and participate in blockchain mining and network sharing. 

Deeper Network's smart contracts rely on the proof-of-credit (PoCr) consensus mechanism. PoCr ensures the proper functioning of security properties while maintaining the chain's common prefix, quality, and growth. That being said, the platform aims to develop a peer-to-peer network comprising blockchain, network security, and sharing economy.

Deeper Network has also developed a decentralized trident protocol that seeks to allow communication between private and public networks. The protocol aims to secure data transmission, magnify bandwidth, and control congestion.

DPR is the native token and main value currency of the Deeper Network. Users can stake DPR tokens to seek to increase their credit scores. Another function of the token involves micropayments. Users can also earn DPR through the referral system. The platform uses proof of credit for governance instead of the staking process. According to this, a proposer can share a proposal for a given time. Any token holder whose credit score exceeds the threshold value can legally vote for the proposal.

Further, Deep Network reserves a part of the pool to buy back DPR tokens from the users and burn them. Burning token means removing tokens from the circulating supply, reducing the total supply of the tokens. The platform also seeks to utilize unsold tokens in the mining pool and bounty projects for community participants. Here, the bounty project refers to a marketing strategy used by the platform to seek to incentivize developers and marketers.
