FAQ

Beetlecoin is a decentralized and open-source cryptocurrency that provides low fees and instant transactions worldwide. Interestingly, such transactions take place on the internet. Therefore, it is different from traditional money transactions that require banks or other financial institutions. BEET is the token of the Beetlecoin platform, and the coin is available on a smart chain network.

Beetlecoin aims to assist individuals who wish to be an expert in the world of digital assets, irrespective of country, race, or age. The coin aims to empower users to gain financial freedom and enjoy complete authority over their finances in the absence of any centralized authority. Therefore, Beetlecoin enables users to transfer funds to beneficiaries through minimum transaction charges.

Furthermore, Beetlecoin was created to provide a solid masternode to enable low transaction fees, fewer confirmations, and faster transactions. As stated in the whitepaper of Beetlecoin, a masternode refers to a server on a decentralized network that helps in private and instant transactions and participation in voting and resolving grievances. Therefore, the utility of the Beetlecoin masternode enables the stability and loyalty of the network.

Another feature of Beetlecoin is Beetle Cards. Beetle Cards are unique NFTs that serves as a pass to participate in the further development of Beetlecoin and its ecosystem. The use of Beetle Cards involves NFTs, airdrops, voting rights, and staking for the holders.

Beetlecoin is unique in that it combines PoW, PoS, and masternode functionality. To be eligible for masternode in Beetlecoin, traders must purchase 50,000 BEET and put it aside as collateral. Beetlecoin masternode has a block reward of 75%, whereas the proof-of-stake rewards hold a weightage of 25%. The coin provides anonymous transactions, whereby users do not need to reveal their true identities.

The team behind Beetlecoin believes that regular and active communication between the organization and the community will help users utilize the cryptocurrency. Therefore, the team aims to expand its online platforms to reach maximum users.

As the whitepaper states, there are certain risks in cryptocurrency trading like in other financial instruments, such as double spending and inflation. To eliminate the risk of double-spending, Beetlecoin ensures the transaction gets several confirmations from nodes in the blocks before the process is further carried on. As for inflation, the risk is reduced, as Beetlecoin provides reward reduction at certain blocks that ensure the coin's stability in the future.

Because Beetlecoin involves PoS, PoW, and masternode, it also reduces the risk of attacks by hackers. The reason stems from the fact that due to PoW, hackers who try to control 51% of the block need to purchase $15 million worth of computer power devices. Similarly, due to PoS, it is also a costly task for hackers to control the system, and so is the case for an attempt to centralize masternodes.

Beetlecoin also provides wallets that can be used for staking and monitoring and as masternodes. The wallet can be utilized for several masternode setups as well. Interestingly, the wallet has an instant send feature, which enables a fast withdrawal of coins, and the transaction fees are as low as 0.01 Beets per withdrawal.

The maximum supply of Beetlecoin is 500,000,000. The total supply of Beetlecoin is 276,709,240.

The users of Beetlecoin are allowed to mine the token through PoW and get rewarded. Notably, the creation of Beetlecoin is carried out through proper growth and is distributed among the users. Beetlecoin allows users to mine coins through PoS as well, thereby providing them with more flexibility and diversity.

Staking is done on Beetlecoin wallets. The staking of Beetlecoin depends on the number of coins in the wallet address and the connectivity age. Staking is rewarded with 25% of the block rewards.
