Thus, a single smart contract does not become a bottleneck when used by most of the network simultaneously. This mechanism allows the platform to enable decentralized apps to work continuously on top of a Pareto-optimal combination of chains. This Pareto-optimal combination signifies if one chain becomes less useful or another chain becomes more useful, a Dapps can efficiently move functionality to the more appropriate chain. Further to support these developments of Dapps on the platform and facilitate operation, Coinweb introduced its cryptocurrency, the CWEB token.

The CWEB is the multi-utility token of the platform that provides users access to the platform and is mainly used to fuel the platform. Besides these usages the token also serves as a medium of operations on the platform and is used for development, marketing, and facilitating user participation on the platform.
