Jean-Marie Mognetti is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at CoinShares, a European digital asset investment and trading group. Jean-Marie has been with the Global Advisors group of firms since 2011, and during that time he has held a number of executive positions, most recently as CEO of Global Advisors (Jersey) Limited and director of GABI, the first regulated Bitcoin fund in the world.
Along with his management duties as CEO, Jean-Marie is in charge of the company's proprietary trading division, capital markets portfolio, and risk management procedures. Over the course of his career, he has amassed a special level of experience in these fields. Jean-Marie worked as an energy trader assistant at Lehman Brothers before joining Global Advisors and as a quantitative strategist with Hermes Commodities Fund Managers.
Jean-Marie has master's degrees in Mathematical Trading and Finance from Sir John Cass Business School in London and Bank-Finance-Insurance from Université Paris Dauphine in Paris.
