Thailand's Cabinet has approved key amendments to strengthen regulations on digital asset crimes, focusing on mule accounts and foreign crypto platforms involved in money laundering. These updates, announced on April 8, modify the Digital Asset Business Act of 2018 and the Cybercrime Law of 2023. The changes will come into effect once published in the Government Gazette.
