Bitcoin and Ethereum Rally Hits Resistance, LUNA and SHIB Jump

 

• Bitcoin price took a pause below the USD 44,000 resistance.
• Ethereum consolidates below USD 3,400, XRP tested the key USD 0.80 resistance.
• LUNA and SHIB gained over 10%.

Yesterday, bitcoin price rallied above the USD 42,500 resistance level and even spiked above USD 44,000 before correcting lower. It is currently (04:27 UTC) consolidating gains above USD 43,750.

Similarly, most major altcoins extended gains and tested resistance. ETH surged above USD 3,320 and tested USD 3,400. XRP increased too but faced resistance near USD 0.80. ADA rallied above USD 1.30 and even tested USD 1.35 before correcting lower.

Bitcoin price

After a clear move above USD 42,500, bitcoin price started a stronger increase. BTC surged above the USD 43,200 resistance and even tested the USD 44,500 zone. It is now consolidating gains, with an initial support near the USD 43,200 level. The next key support is near USD 43,000, below which the price might revisit USD 42,500.

An immediate resistance is near the USD 44,000 level. The next major resistance is near USD 44,500, above which the price might start a move towards the USD 45,500 level.

Ethereum price

Ethereum price gained pace after it broke the key USD 3,250 resistance zone. ETH rallied above the USD 3,320 and USD 3,350 resistance levels. It tested USD 3,400 before correcting lower. An initial support is near the USD 3,300 level. The next major support is near USD 3,250, below which the price might test USD 3,150.

On the upside, the price is facing resistance near USD 3,380. The next key hurdle is near USD 3,400, above which the price might rise to USD 3,450.

ADA, BNB, SOL, DOGE, and XRP price

Cardano (ADA) rallied above the USD 1.28 and USD 1.30 resistance levels. It even tested USD 1.35 and is currently consolidating gains. The main support is near USD 1.30, below which there is a risk of a drop to USD 1.25.

Binance coin (BNB) extended gains above the USD 480 level. The next key resistance is near USD 488, above which the price might test USD 500. If there is a downside correction, the price may perhaps test USD 465.

Solana (SOL) climbed above the USD 142 level and even spiked above USD 150. It is now trading in a range, with a key support near USD 145. The next major support is near the USD 138 level.

DOGE gained pace above the USD 0.155 level. It is up almost 10% and trading near the USD 0.167 level. The next major resistance is near the USD 0.172 level, above which the price could rise towards the USD 0.180 level.

XRP price surged above the USD 0.780 resistance. It even spiked above USD 0.80 before correcting lower. An immediate support is near the USD 0.78 level, below which the bulls might appear near USD 0.765.

Other altcoins market today

Many altcoins are up over 5%, including LUNA, DOT, AVAX, SHIB, LTC, FTM, XLM, HBAR, SAND, ONE, and HNT. Out of these, LUNA jumped 10%, surpassed USD 81, and increased weekly gains to 3%. At the same time, SHIB gained 15% in a day and 5% in a week, reaching the USD 0.000032 level.

Overall, bitcoin price is showing positive signs above the key USD 43,000 zone. If BTC finds bids near USD 43,000, it could start another increase towards USD 44,500 or even USD 45,000.
