Mono Protocol (MONO) Overview

  • Mono Protocol provides an interconnected Web3 ecosystem that enables users to interact across various networks using its universal gas token, MONO. According to the whitepaper, it ensures faster and more efficient transactions with up to a 40% reduction in gas fees.
  • So far, the project has raised over $2 million, with 533 million MONO tokens allocated for the presale. It’s currently priced at $0.035 per token, with a launch price of $0.50.
  • As a new project, Mono Protocol faces several early-stage risks. The beta is not expected until Q4 2025, and the mainnet launch is planned for 2026. Without an independently tested, functioning platform, we cannot yet confirm if the project can sustain itself long-term and at scale.

What is Mono Protocol?

Mono Protocol is a chain-abstraction platform that offers seamless interactions across various networks, allowing users to initiate transactions with a universal account. Token balances from supported blockchains are aggregated, and on-chain transactions are made more accessible and efficient through the universal gas token, MONO.

MONO also serves as the staking and governance token in the Mono Protocol ecosystem. Validators can stake MONO to help secure the protocol and facilitate cross-chain executions, while token holders can vote on future upgrades and other decisions through the decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).

In addition to its Web3-unifying environment, Mono Protocol enables MEV-resistant executions through its routing system. Once employed, the project will be protected from frontrunning crypto schemes that aim to exploit pending transactions, creating unfair market conditions.

When launched, the project will support major EVM chains, including Ethereum, Base, BNB, Avalanche, and Polygon. Planned expansions include a beta integration with Solana and operations extending to Bitcoin.

Mono Protocol Tokenomics

Mono Protocol has a total supply of 1,066,056,144 MONO tokens, of which 13.3% (141,252,439) will be launched as its initial circulating supply. Here’s how the total supply will be distributed:

Purpose Distribution Details
Presale 50% About 533 million MONO tokens are reserved for presale participants.
Liquidity 10% Used to provide liquidity on exchanges for smooth buying and selling when the token launches.
Marketing 10% Funds set aside for marketing campaigns to raise awareness on Mono Protocol.
Team 5% Reserved for the project’s founders and developers and features a 24-month vesting period.
Treasury & Governance 5% DAO-controlled token allocation to fund further development and upgrades.
Strategic Reserve 5% Held to fund future opportunities, like more listings and partnerships.
Ecosystem Incentives 5% Rewards given to ecosystem participants who contribute and help secure the project.
User Rewards 5% Distributed to users for staking rewards and other services.
Private Round 5% Around 50 million MONO tokens are reserved for private investors, with a 24-month vesting period.

Mono Protocol Presale Details

Before the public presale, Mono Protocol opened its whitelist registration in mid-September 2025. Participants at this stage could receive priority access, governance benefits, and exclusive rewards.

On October 1st, 2025, the Mono Protocol whitelist sale went live, allowing private investors to purchase MONO. In total, this stage raised $1.5 million. Following this, the project launched its public presale.

From all token sales (public and private), Mono Protocol has secured over $3.67 million in token investments. At press time, MONO is priced at $0.055 per token and has a launch price of $0.50.

Mono Protocol Roadmap

The Mono Protocol roadmap currently spans 4 quarters, with its Q3 2025 plans already completed. Its current stage, Marketing Package & Presale Launch, involves completing smart contract audits, KYC initiatives, developer previews, and social media growth.

For 2026, Mono Protocol aims to release its beta by Q1, while staking, governance, and chain expansions are scheduled for Q2. A large-scale marketing expansion is planned for Q3, including technical deep-dives and co-marketing campaigns with other blockchain firms.

Mono Protocol Staking

One of the MONO token’s utilities includes staking, where users can stake their MONO holdings and earn a share of the protocol’s fees. According to the Mono Protocol whitepaper, 40% of the transaction fee revenue is allocated to stakers. Staking is not supported during the presale.

How to Ensure Safety and Avoid Scams When Buying MONO

When participating in token presales, security is a top priority. Follow these tips to keep your assets and data protected from different types of crypto scams and online attacks.

Use a Secure Crypto Wallet

  • Before participating in a presale, you’ll need a crypto wallet. Some of the best crypto wallets provide strong security features, including two-factor authentication (2FA) and client-side encryption.
  • Reliable options include Best Wallet, MetaMask, and Trust Wallet, which are all well-established decentralized wallets in 2025.
  • Remember to properly back up your wallet seed phrase by writing it down and storing it in a secure location. Some wallets offer cloud storage backup, but it’s best practice to secure the phrase offline.

Watch Out for Scams

  • Be cautious of common crypto scams, especially in popular presales. One popular method is phishing, where hackers set up fake websites that look like real ones to steal wallet details. Always use the official Mono Protocol presale website to avoid falling victim to this scam.
  • Another type of scam involves receiving unsolicited messages that claim to be the project’s customer support. Scammers will ask for sensitive information, like your recovery phrase or private keys. Never provide these details, and legitimate customer representatives will never request this information.
  • Avoid clicking suspicious links or linking your crypto wallet to unverified websites. Malware and other programs may be installed on your device without your knowledge, placing your assets at risk.

Do Your Due Diligence

  • Mono Protocol is an ambitious project that makes some strong claims regarding its potential. It’s essential to evaluate the project independently by studying the team’s background, reviewing the whitepaper, and comparing the concept to existing solutions.
  • Remember, participating in the presale will lock up your holdings until the token launches. If the token sale takes a long time to end, you could face significant opportunity costs by purchasing MONO at presale.
  • Even if you decide to invest in Mono Protocol, avoid putting all your funds in a single project. Diversifying across different cryptocurrencies can mitigate risk.

Is Mono Protocol Safe & Legit?

Let’s discuss Mono Protocol’s safety measures and examine the project’s overall crypto security.

  • Audit Status: Mono Protocol has already completed an independent smart contract audit with CertiK.
  • Established Partners: Mono Protocol has partnered with several well-known blockchain companies, including WalletConnect, for secure token transfers on its presale platform. The project is also powered by LI.FI, Celestia, and Chainlink.
  • On-Chain Transactions: As a decentralized platform, Mono Protocol manages all transactions on the blockchain. Since the beta product has not yet launched, we are uncertain about the exact on-chain infrastructure; therefore, investors should stay informed about the upcoming beta release.

Why We Don’t Recommend Mono Protocol

Despite already raising over $3.67 million, Mono Protocol is subject to various early-stage risks and other concerns that we’ve found.

Mono Protocol has already showcased its chain-abstraction concept and the utility of its token and ecosystem. However, the current lack of a working product means that current and previous investments are primarily driven by speculation. Before it can gain market adoption and investor confidence, the team must prove that its infrastructure can sustain itself at scale.

Furthermore, Mono Protocol will be launching amidst already established chain-abstraction and cross-chain communication projects. Some examples include the industry-standard oracle platform Chainlink (LINK), which has a market cap of over $15 billion. Existing projects are already solving many of the problems that Mono Protocol aims to address.

Because the Mono Protocol presale allows purchasing MONO but does not permit selling, prices can be artificially driven up. This includes the token launch price of $0.50, which would give investors who buy in today returns of over 1,000%. With this structure, early buyers would be motivated to liquidate their holdings after the token generation event (TGE).

Even with the project’s 18-month vesting period for presale buyers and a 24-month vesting period for private investors, this could lead to periodic selling pressures if token allocations are made to investors every month.

Main Factors That Will Influence the Mono Protocol Price Potential

The Mono Protocol presale has a target raise of $90 million. Given that the current capital raised is $3.67 million, we believe its presale will continue for at least another year. Since presale prices are determined by the fundraising stage the project is currently in, this will be the most significant factor influencing MONO’s price for 2025 and 2026.

Token dilution is another significant factor that can impact the token’s price. According to the whitepaper, the token will launch with a circulating supply of approximately 141 million MONO tokens.

Since the project has a total token supply of about 1.06 billion tokens, nearly 87% will be unlocked over time. This would dilute the value of existing tokens if demand and market adoption don’t catch up.

Let’s break down our price predictions for Mono Protocol for 2025, 2026, and 2030.

  • 2025 Price Prediction: We anticipate that Mono Protocol will still be in its presale phase in 2025, with the token priced as high as $0.05 by the end of the year.
  • 2026 Price Prediction: For most of 2026, we expect the project to continue raising funds through its public presale. In the final months, the presale may conclude, and the token will eventually launch. However, we believe MONO will fall from its launch price of $0.50 to approximately $0.20 due to selling pressures resulting from inflated presale prices.
  • 2030 Price Prediction: By the end of the decade, we expect Mono Protocol to attain moderate success with its chain-abstraction system, resulting in an average price of $0.40 for MONO. With its total supply of over 1 billion tokens, that would amount to a fully diluted market cap of over $400 million.

Best Mono Protocol Alternatives

PEPENODE is a good alternative to mono protocol

Platform users get to build their own virtual memecoin mining rigs by purchasing nodes. PEPENODE, the native utility token, is used as a payment for all mining operation upgrades and node purchases. Players place mining rigs in server rooms to generate yield and earn meme token rewards.

One key aspect of the project is its deflationary token protocol, where 70% of PEPENODE tokens spent on nodes are permanently burned. This model reduced the total supply, increasing scarcity. Interested buyers can purchase PEPENODE at presale for $0.0012064 per token.
