Act I: The AI Prophecy (ACT) is a cryptocurrency and decentralised community initiative designed to advance artificial intelligence (AI) research, education, and collaboration. The project revolves around the AI Community Token ($ACT), which funds community-driven efforts to democratise AI knowledge and make it accessible to a global audience.

Launched with the goal of bridging the gap between crypto and AI communities, ACT emphasises unity, resilience, and growth. Its mission includes fostering ethical discussions about AI, breaking barriers to AI literacy, and creating opportunities for collaboration between developers, innovators, and AI enthusiasts.

A defining moment in ACT’s history was the departure of its co-founder, AmplifiedAmp (Amp), which catalysed the transition to full community ownership and governance. This shift enabled ACT to become a fully decentralised project where members collaboratively guide its direction and goals.

ACT serves as a funding and governance mechanism for initiatives aligned with advancing AI literacy and innovation. Its use cases include:

Act I was initially co-founded by AmplifiedAmp (Amp), who envisioned a decentralised community-driven ecosystem for AI research and education. However, challenges arose when Amp’s actions—including the sale of all their $ACT holdings—were perceived as prioritising personal financial gain over the community’s interests.

This controversial event resulted in Amp’s departure, leaving the project entirely in the hands of its community. Despite the disruption, the $ACT community demonstrated resilience, leveraging the $1 million in remaining funding to revitalise the project and take full control of its operations.

Since then, ACT has flourished as a collaborative initiative, with members stepping into leadership roles to rebuild trust, redefine its goals, and advance its mission of democratising AI.
