Crypto Bank Silvergate Reports Q4 Loss of $1B; Hashkey Capital Raises $500M for 3rd Crypto Fund
Crypto bank Silvergate Capital (SI) reported a net loss of $1 billion for Q4, compared with a net income of $40.6 million for Q3. HashKey Capital, the investment arm of HashKey Group, has closed its third fund with $500 million in committed capital. Fidelity Investments-backed crypto exchange OSL is reportedly cutting staff and reducing its overall costs by about a third.
