Clara García Prieto

Clara García Prieto is a Spanish lawyer specializing in Bitcoin, cryptoassets and their regulatory and tax treatment. She is the founder of BTL, a boutique advisory firm that helps individuals and companies navigate taxation, corporate treasury strategies and the institutional adoption of Bitcoin. Clara previously worked in Telefónica’s tax department and holds a law degree from the University of Salamanca, a master’s in Legal Practice and Business Law from Centro de Estudios Garrigues, and a diploma in Blockchain from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She is the author of Bitcoin: A New Form of Private Property (Editorial Tecnos) and regularly speaks at international conferences, including Bitcoin Las Vegas and Mad Bitcoin.
