Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
šUnderwrite commercial property and casualty business with a focus on profitability and risk management. šBuild and maintain strong relationships with agents. šEnsure adherence to underwriting guidelines and company policies. šAnalyze business opportunities, determine appropriate pricing, and assess risk. šContribute to acquiring and retaining profitable commercial lines customers.
Required Qualifications:
šBachelor's degree or equivalent (relevant work experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis). šAt least 4 years of commercial property and casualty underwriting experience. šAdvanced knowledge of P&C insurance forms and rating rules. šStrong understanding of underwriting principles and loss control strategies. šExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
