Job Summary
Job Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
šWorking with internal departments and outside counsel on property-related legal matters šAssist legal team in analyzing due diligence and legal research, including title, survey, environmental and other reports šHelping counsel draft purchase and sale agreements and other related acquisition closing documents, loan documents, and similar documents for conducting closings šPrepare and organize physical and electronic closing binders and ensure all post-closing documents, such as deeds and mortgages, are properly recorded. šSupport the Legal Departmentās role and responsibilities related to Gromaās expansion into additional regional markets šSupporting the legal department on all projects, including real estate transactions, permitting and development, real estate fund construction, expansion city research šSupport the Legal Departmentās role in the rollout of Gromaās blockchain strategy, including securities law application where applicable šResearch and track legal and regulatory developments related to the use of blockchain technology in real estate and capital markets, especially concerning securities law
Qualifications
Candidates must be either: šFull-time, matriculated 2L JD candidate at an ABA accredited institution, OR šCurrently enrolled undergraduate student with an interest in law, real estate, securities, and/or blockchain technology šMinimum 3.0 GPA required
