According to its whitepaper, Viking Swap has introduced a time-lock to the contract at launch. The migrator code has been removed for enhanced security. Also, its goal is to build a perpetual deflationary token with a continuous burn mechanism, similar to the current wave of second-generation yield farms. It also aims to create an environment that can sustain long-term gains with constantly high APR (Annual Percentage Rate) for more revenues. Burning removes coins from circulation by sending them to an inaccessible wallet address, thereby increasing the token's value.

VIKING is a BEP-20 token of the Viking Swap platform that runs on the Binance Smart Chain. BEP-20 is a token standard that defines rules for tokens on the BSC platform. The platform has built a continual burning mechanism to ensure that VIKING is maintained at all times. In particular, a 4 percent burn fee is charged at staking; 80 percent of the burn fee is used to buy back VIKING tokens and burn them; 10 percent is sent to the developer's address; and 10 percent can be held in escrow for Viking Swap's future projects. The platform is in the process of introducing unique Viking NFTs as an additional means of burning VIKING to keep the value high.
