MIM also plans to use a Proof of History consensus mechanism for an environmentally friendlier approach. Proof of History uses unique cryptography to verify the transactions and the time-lapse between two transactions. Thus, MIM Swarm aspires to create a network where the new-age digital creators can access, engage, involve, and upload their creations.

The launch of MIM Swarm took place in 2021. The team of four members responsible for the platform come from creative backgrounds. The first two members are Kyonymn, with a background in the music industry, and Stonelynx, a music producer. Metaowl has experience as a consultant in the music industry, and Estintore is a fashion designer.

MIM Swarm estimates it will supply a total of five billion MIM tokens in the market.
