Mello Token is a redistributive cryptocurrency launched on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) network that powers Mello platform. Mello is a Virtual Reality Gaming Environment. The project seeks to build a community where individuals can hold, play, and earn rewards in Mello Token.

Mello is a flexible, exchangeable, and gaming platform. The project aims to develop a luxurious and fully-functioning Virtual Reality (VR) gaming environment wherein gamers can play 3D games sitting at home. The project intends to accelerate the integration of VR into daily norms. By doing so, MELLO seeks to interrupt the entertainment and finance industries to provide gamers a thrilling 3D experience of the VR gaming environment. The Mello Casino is one of the first 3D gaming environments released on the BSC blockchain. Thus, the project aims to enhance the experience of virtual Casinos among the users by integrating 2D Mello Casino and the VR Mello Casino.

According to its whitepaper, the Mello Casino is centered around the Mello Token. Mello Token operates as a proprietary cryptocurrency for virtual Casinos developed by the Mello ecosystem. While doing so, a transaction fee is charged by Mello Casino. Three percent of the fee is redistributed among the Mello holders to their crypto wallets holding Mello Token. The MELLO platform also seeks to encourage the use of Mello Token through the reward structure by the Mello Casino while providing various benefits to the Mello-holding players. However, the MELLO platform zero liquidity fee while locking Mello Token for one year.

In the future, the project seeks to launch the Mello NFT collection composed of approximately one thousand NFTs with varying features and attributes.

In Quarter 1 of 2021, the MELLO platform developed the Mello Token contract. A team of fourteen members unified by a passion for transforming and developing the finance and entertainment industry. With the launch, the platform also issued a maximum supply of five hundred million Mello Token, along with an initial burn of 88 million tokens.

On October 8, 2021, the public launch of 2D Mello Casino and VR gaming was accessible to the Mello community.
