_Ghost__ _is a decentralized Proof-of-Stake privacy coin managed by GHOST coin holders and users. The Ghost project aims to build a decentralized, privacy-focused, secured payment system based on a long-term proof-of-stake consensus mechanism and rewarded administrators.

According to its whitepaper, Ring Confidential Transactions (Ring-CT) makes all Ghost transactions invisible, masking the sender, receiver, and amount. Ghost transactions use a state-of-the-art security pool to hide and delete transaction information. Also, Zero-knowledge proofs are used to verify the transactions made on the Ghost platform. The transactions conducted on the Ghost blockchain are completed in less than 120 seconds, with a minimum amount of transaction costs. The platform employs hidden addresses combined with Ring-CT to protect users' privacy and confidentiality while trading on the platform.

GHOST is the Ghost network's standard token based on the ERC-20 token standard. The users can earn GHOST tokens through staking, contributing to the Ghost blockchain's fees. There are no minimum coin requirements for staking on the Ghost platform.

The platform allows users to become Ghost veterans, provided they need to have a minimum of 20,000 GHOST tokens in their wallets. Ghost Veteran is considered an effective method to profit from the Ghost blockchain's fees. The network uses an inflationary incentive system prevalent in PoS networks. On the Ghost platform, a new block is generated every 120 seconds (2 minutes), minting 12 GHOST tokens in the process (6 GHOST per minute).

Ghost Network intends to launch Wrapped Ghost on Binance Smart Chain. Wrapped Ghost seeks to provide everyone with accessibility to billions of USD of liquidity on the BSC platform. Wrapped Ghost enables GHOST tokens to be exchanged on Uniswap and potentially connected with several DeFi applications. The platform also aims to release a mobile wallet app designed particularly for the Ghost network, available on app stores.

John McAfee founded the Ghost network on May 25, 2020. Mr. John is a tech pioneer, computer programmer, and security expert. The Ghost’s whitepaper was published on June 10, 2020.
