FUTURE is a DeFi platform driven by Serum and Solana that offers yield rate swaps, futures (long-only), and fixed-rate contracts. Solana is a blockchain platform for decentralized applications. Serum is a DeFi protocol that provides decentralized finance more speed and minimal transaction costs. Each contract can vary depending on the market and exchange where the strategy is used. The FUTURE protocol aims to develop a variety of low-risk, market-neutral, and yielding methods for basis traders and passive income traders.

The FTR team aims to issue new contracts, promote them, and manage the underlying risks associated with building positions required to provide these products. FUTURE aims to handle the lack of information in implementing dynamic hedging methods and creating complex positions by managing the underlying positions. The platform has designed its products to seek to build an easily accessible way to use the yield while controlling a part of the risks for its users.

FTR is the governance token of the FUTURE protocol. The FTR token is used to participate in the FTR protocol's products. Once the initial rollout of the FUTURE decentralized ecosystem is complete, FTR holders get the governance rights over decisions such as the contracts/products FUTURE issues, the use of development funds, and potential alliances. FTR provides access to the FUTURE's compiled set of market visualization tools and data.
