The asset’s features include lottery blocks, atomic exchange and swaps, crypto banking, a one-click masternode system, a multi-coin system, scalability, vaulting, and user-friendly Smart Wallet. Masternode refers to a server with a unique status in the network. The Divi Network operates on a proof of stake based blockchain-consensus method.

DIVI is the utility and governance token of the Divi project that can be minted using PoS consensus protocol with both masternode and staking techniques. DIVI is a community-driven token that runs on the ERC-20 blockchain network. 45% of the DIVI tokens are allocated to masternodes. Besides this, 1% of the token share goes to charity, 7% goes to liquidity exchange and platform support, 9% goes to marketing and development, and 38% goes to stake.  

Geoff McCabe (co-founder and CEO), Michael Greenwood (CTO and co-founder), and Nick Saponaro (General Manager and co-founder) released the Divi platform in 2017. The network launched its whitepaper on November 25, 2018.
