The network invites financial professionals with experience and AI technology to enhance digital assets allocation. The vision is to develop a digital assets management platform. However, the currency seeks to add to the development of the blockchain ecosystem by supporting start-ups.

According to the whitepaper, BitUP is a professional management platform for digital assets that lets users check incomes, recharge, withdraw, and more. This blockchain-based project seeks to handle various problems such as low efficiency, high transaction cost, nontransparency, and high credibility risk to build a trusted, open, secure, and low-cost exchange platform. Also, the network aims to release assets management products named Digital Assets Combinations (DAC). Different distribution ratios of digital assets can create different DACs.

BUT is the native ERC20 token of the BitUP platform implemented on the Ethereum blockchain. The token is the primary payment mode and circulating currency of the BitUP ecosystem. The token can also be utilized as a reward to incentivize positive behaviors and motivate regular traders and professionals.

The network supports two categories of funds—Index Funds and Active Funds. Index Funds incorporate various exchange platform's APIs to draw their index statistics such as market index, fork token index, new token index, etc. Active Funds use investment managers' knowledge and AI's data analytics to survey the projects and obtain data through operations and investment strategies.

The BitUP platform was launched in 2017. Besides this, the network released the BitUP investment fund. The maximum total supply of the BUT tokens was 1 billion BUT coins.
