Spheroid Universe is an augmented reality (AR) platform. According to the project’s website, Spheroid Universe provides an augmented reality layer onto the earth’s surface that splits it into spaces concerning NFT, an ERC-721 standard-based asset. According to the whitepaper, Sspaces are plots with precise geographical locations and coordinates. Augmented reality objects are then published within space for aesthetic, entertaining, and advertising purposes. With the Spheroid Universe app installed, such things are then observed through smartphones, glasses, and AR helmets.

Due to some limitations, the older technologies related to augmented reality had difficulty providing the AR experience in the real world. Such limitations include precise positioning during the app initialization, tracking of device movement, and the recent approaches to solve the issues which were not fruitful. Spheroid Universe came up with a solution that included software and hardware upgrades. Such upgrades in technology are intended to increase the mapping method and machine learning technology. The project’s mission is to create the best AR service globally for individual and commercial organizations.

The users on Spheroid Universe seek to express themselves; create, render,, interact with, and evaluate objects; communicate with each other by leaving messages; and even trace their presence in the new world. Users can create their community, share interesting content, invite friends, play, meet, and have fun. Moreover, the business also gains an opportunity to advertise itself in unprecedented ways in the best places that were previously inaccessible to them. The project further provides a platform to develop AR advertising services connecting advertisers and space owners. Such space owners get revenue when an advertisement is published in their space.

The SPH token is the native cryptocurrency of the Spheroid Universe project. The token is based on ERC-20 token standards and works on the Ethereum blockchain. The token is issued to develop the Spheroid Universe.
