LifeDAO is a decentralized cryptocurrency protocol on the Avalanche network. Avalanche is an open-source platform that enables decentralized apps (DApps) to run on smart contracts. LifeDAO's cryptocurrency aims to enable traders to earn even when the crypto market is down.

Unlike OHM, LIFE is driven by community-governed protocol. Furthermore, LifeDAO seeks to stabilize the crypto portfolio of users through safe and fundamental steps. These steps aim to include rolling out bonds regularly to ensure the treasury has enough liquidity to bootstrap new bonds. Treasury refers to a business model of decentralized control of partnership funds.

Moreover, LifeDAO aims to provide good returns and quick transaction speed to its users. The protocol dictates the minting and coin-burning process of LIFE tokens. Minting refers to a process through which new coins come into existence, whereas coin burning means getting rid of a portion of old coins by sending them to an inaccessible wallet.

LIFE is the cryptocurrency of the LifeDAO protocol. Of the token's total supply, 90% is reserved for reward holders who stake their tokens in the protocol. When users stake their LIFE tokens, they lock in LIFE to get sLIFE which is bound to auto-compound after a fixed period. LifeDAO has allocated the remaining 10% to marketing.
