Ellaism (ELLA) is an open-source platform created for decentralized applications (Dapps). Ellaism is an Ethereum-based network that allows smart contract deployment compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). EVM is the software platform developers can use to create Dapps on the Ethereum network. Ellaism aims to create a smart contract platform that is both fair and trustworthy. As per its whitepaper, the Ellaism platform aims to utilize proof-of-work (PoW) to secure the blockchain. The Ellaism platform features no pre-mine, no contentious hard fork, a financial policy where a 20 percent mining rewards reduction happens every ten million blocks, and no difficulty bomb. The Difficulty bomb is the gradual increase in Ethereum mining difficulty as a part of the migration to a proof-of-stake (PoS) system.
