Whale Exploder, also known as $WHEX, is a decentralized finance (DeFi) token that operates on the Binance Smart Chain. It was created on June 19, 2021, and forms the foundation of the Whale Exploder ecosystem. The ecosystem's mission is to contribute to whale conservation efforts with each transaction. A portion of the transaction fees generated by Whale Exploder is donated to whale conservation charities. The token supply of Whale Exploder is large, with a total of 999,999,999,999,999,900,000 tokens. The tokenomics of Whale Exploder include a 2% distribution to holders and a 2% contribution to an automatic liquidity pool.

Whale Exploder operates on a specific tokenomics model. With each transaction, 2% is sent to a whale charity wallet. When the charity wallet reaches a certain amount, a portion is burned, and the rest is sold and donated to whale conservation efforts. Additionally, 2% of each transaction is distributed to holders, and another 2% is added to an automatic liquidity pool. A custom smart contract has been created to facilitate the purchase of WHEX tokens, aiming to simplify the process for users.

Whale Exploder is part of a broader ecosystem that includes a set of 4,800 NFTs and a DAO vote token. The NFTs, known as WHEXy Whales, are a collection on the Ethereum blockchain. They serve as both a profile picture collection and a means to generate funds for whale conservation charities. They also provide a way for holders to receive WHEX. The DAO vote token, $WHEXDAO, is used to make decisions about the future of the Whale Exploder ecosystem through blockchain voting. Each round of voting sees each WHEXy Whale airdropped one voting token.

Whale Exploder was created by Peter Wake, a Mining Engineering graduate working in IT/Business Development. Peter entered the cryptocurrency space in early 2021, starting with Dogecoin and some DeFi projects. In March 2021, he made his first NFT on OpenSea, and in June 2021, he launched the Whale Exploder token on the Binance Smart Chain. Since its inception, the Whale Exploder ecosystem has made donations to whale conservation charities, contributing to its mission of saving the whales one transaction at a time.
