NuNet (NTX) is a globally decentralized computing framework that aims to harness the latent computing power of independently owned devices across the globe. It seeks to establish a dynamic ecosystem of computing resources, where each participant is individually rewarded via a tokenomic ecosystem based on the NuNet Utility Token (NTX). NuNet aims to contribute to the evolution of the cloud computing industry by connecting individual compute devices, irrespective of their size, location, and ownership, to a decentralized machine-to-machine ecosystem. This ecosystem allows software agents and their owners to search and find the most fitting and accessible hardware resources.

NuNet operates by integrating the world's computing and storage resources into a single meta-marketplace. It allows anyone to share, monetize, and utilize the value of their storage, computing capacities, algorithms, code, data, human creativity, and machine intelligence, at scale. NuNet provides a layer of intelligent interoperability between computational processes and physical computing infrastructures. It aims to minimize the costs of global computing and enable novel business processes for the Data Economy and Internet of Things. NuNet leverages Web3 technologies, serverless container execution, service mesh orchestration, and crypto-economy with the aim of developing a decentralized "world computer".

NuNet has a wide range of potential use cases. It aims to provide a solution for the fragmented market of global computing, where large infrastructure providers dominate by locking users into their computing and data silos. NuNet seeks to make advanced AI and ML technology more accessible for individuals, researchers, and SMEs who cannot afford the computing resources needed to develop and apply new technologies. It also aims to unlock the wealth of latent computing resources distributed across edge devices that currently lie dormant and underused. Furthermore, NuNet strives to enable seamless interoperability among its components and intelligent automation of workflow design.

NuNet is the second project to spin-off from SingularityNET and the first project to launch from the SingularityDAO Launchpad. It has been incubated via SingularityNET X-Lab Accelerator programmes since early 2018. The technology development and early use cases of the NuNet platform are geared towards supporting the computational infrastructure of decentralized AI agents of SingularityNET. NuNet is expanding its team and looking for colleagues. It also encourages individuals to join their developer exchange program where they may aid in the testing and development of the NuNet platform.
