Metagochi is a virtual pet metaverse platform built on the Ethereum network. The platform's goal is to create NFTs, where users can mint their tokens to use in the Metagochi Metaverse. With their NFT, users can gather, train, and earn Metagochi eggs. The platform anticipates a full Metagochi Metaverse where users can coach their tokens to improve their chances of winning the "Gochi Games" and gain rewards in the form of rare NFT eggs and gaming items. 

According to its whitepaper, users can receive one free metagochi egg per week for every four tokens staked and two free metagochi eggs per week for every one hundred LP tokens pledged by staking tokens. LP tokens represent a portion of the cryptocurrency liquidity pool. The user needs to deposit their tokens in a locker for a week to help moderate price volatility and encourage people to hold. Users can redeem their tokens at any moment, but they must stake their tokens for at least one week to obtain rewards. ​​

As the Metagochi Metaverse evolves, the platform intends to build an augmented reality metaverse in which users can train and interact with Metagochi in the real world. AR, short for Augmented Reality, is a digitally enhanced version of the real world created via the use of virtual visual elements, sound, and other sensory stimulation.

MGCHI is an ERC 20 utility token of the platform. It is the native cryptocurrency of the platform. By simply holding the MGCHI token, users earn a 4 percent reflection.Reflection tokens are tokens that reward holders through a method in which transactions are taxed, and a part of the tax levied is redistributed to token holders.

Metagochi's team comprises successful real-world application developers and some of DeFi's most professional experts. The initial supply of the token was 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 MGCHI.
