When an agreement is launched, a special private blockchain is created to record the history of events and the contract's current state. All contract data is only available to its parties. LTO Network was initially developed as LegalThings One by Firm24 in 2014. In 2017, the decision was made to incorporate blockchain into the product and rebrand it as LTO Network. CEO Rick Schmitz, an experienced entrepreneur, previously worked in private equity and mergers & acquisitions at Deloitte and PwC. CFO Martijn Migchelsen, COO and co-founder of LTO Network, previously worked as a corporate finance consultant at PwC. Arnold Daniels, co-founder and lead architect of the project, has extensive experience in open-source development and leads the core development team. LTO Network launched its mainnet in January 2019 and has since continued to evolve and develop solutions to bridge the gap between the real world and the crypto space.
