According to the whitepaper, the primary idea behind the launch of Louverture is to encourage noders to make investments in the DeFi high-yielding protocols. Further, the DeFi yield protocol is a very distinct platform introducing solutions for NFTs, yield farming, and staking. Ordinarily, yield farming involves lending crypto tokens to generate additional earnings in the form of yields or more cryptocurrency. In fact, the protocol rewards users in Ethereum instead of native tokens. What’s more about Louverture is that the platform seeks to liberate users from the hassles of searching for good protocols. Also, Louverture seeks to prevent users from paying the network charges. 

Meanwhile, a powerful and innovative reward mechanism is at the core of the Louverture platform, the LVT-nodes. LVT-nodes are described as advanced tools in the platform, seeking to allow users to earn high yields and lifetime rewards, thereby supporting the sustainable development of the token. Unlike usual nodes storing secure data on the blockchain, the LVT nodes are contracts. Moreover, Louverture utilizes LVT as the platform’s utility token. Users need at least 100 LVT tokens to create a node. While LVT aims to distribute rewards among the users, the token also aims to increase in value and contribute toward higher capital appreciation.

To sum up, Louverture seeks to strengthen the future of cryptocurrency by utilizing the platform’s venture capital. More importantly, Louverture plans to become a peer-to-peer venture capital, providing financial backups to new projects in its early stages. Finally, the platform aims to redistribute the profits generated to the noders, thereby seeking to increase the annual percentage rate (APR) of the token.
