Kabosu (KABOSU) is a charity-driven cryptocurrency with an ambition to provide shelters for dogs. As its website mentions, Kabosu is a female Shiba Inu who was once abandoned and put away in an animal shelter in Japan. Atsuko Sato, the owner of Kabosu, the animal shelter, rescued the breed. Hence, the Kabosu token seeks to safeguard dogs from being abandoned. The crypto-token facilitates extending donations to various dog charities mostly on a regular basis. 

The Kabosu cryptocurrency is primarily a Dogecoin powering the INU ecosystem. INU wishes to stand out as an operational platform in a decentralized finance (DeFi) space. Implementing cryptocurrency and blockchain transactions in regular lives is a struggle for a few too many. INU of Kabosu aims to simplify utilizing crypto assets in everyday life. The platform plans to employ a single operating asset for multiple use cases. Kabosu token is a decentralized crypto asset supporting various functions of the INU platform. For instance, the ecosystem wishes to feature a decentralized exchange (DEX), an NFT marketplace, a staking protocol for users, a wallet, and a token bridge to swap crypto assets across blockchain networks quickly and at affordable prices. INU plans to function as a pet adoption platform and continue making donations for dog charities. 

According to its whitepaper, charity is at the core of the Kabosu powered project. The platform conducts NFT auctions and distributes 50 percent of the proceeds towards charitable causes. Some of the profits are also added to the voluntary charity wallets, focusing on developing animal shelters. Kabosu teams up with a few charity partners like ‘Paws with Cause,’ ‘The Man That Rescues Dogs,’ ‘Pawssion Project,’ and more. 

Kabosu is a BEP-20 token created on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). The token rewards users for participating in blockchain transactions. Five percent of the tokens are redistributed among token holders as rewards. Users can add tokens to the liquidity pools to generate higher revenues. The staking of tokens allows users to earn bigger returns as well. KABOSU empowers users with voting rights since the community decides which dog charities the project must pair with. 

Kabosu was first launched on May 10, 2021. The Kabosu whitepaper version 2 was released on June, 2021.
