Ixinium (XXA) is a cryptocurrency that was launched in June 2019 on the Stellar network. It intends to provide a structure for its token, with its value base built with physical precious metals, which act as Force Majeure protection. The Ixinium Foundation, which holds and protects the physical precious metals as assets against the Force Majeure for Ixinium XXA, manages these precious metals. The foundation strives to build a precious metal-based collateral value base greater than the market value of the XXA token. Each purchase USD value is tokenized to the Stellar blockchain using the Ixinium Asset Token (IXAT). The Ixinium brand is trademarked on the European Union to protect the heart and soul of the Ixinium business model.

Ixinium operates by using the Stellar network, a decentralized, open network that handles millions of transactions each day. Payments may be processed within 2-5 seconds, and the network’s fees are infinitesimally small – a single 600,000th of a cent per transaction. Ixinium also has a buyback function that is automated, using a market buy order to buy a certain amount of XXA from the lowest market sell order position available. Additionally, Ixinium has an autostaking function, an automated compensation-providing system where XXA holders don’t need separately to claim their rewards.

Potential use cases for Ixinium include its use as a new generation hybrid cryptocurrency, which is force majeure protected by physical precious metals backing. It aims to be accessed worldwide on iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, and Linux systems within the Stellar decentralized payment network and exchanges. Ixinium provides an opportunity for users to receive compensation from Ixinium XXA liquidity pools. Furthermore, Ixinium aims to be used in the Stellar DeFi system, where customers aim to access financial products directly on a decentralized blockchain network, without the need for middlemen such as banks and brokerages.
