Ethereum Meta aims to be a foundation for the Anonymous E-Market Place, which is being developed to be accessible by Tor Browser. It strives to facilitate fully-anonymous, untraceable transactions. Ethereum Meta is accessible through normal Ethereum wallets, which allows for an easy transition of normal Ethereum to a Meta layer. This convenience facilitates continuous transactions on Ethereum Meta. The goal is to turn Ethereum Meta into a token for daily payments in the Anonymous Market Place.

Ethereum Meta was introduced to address a major weakness in Ethereum: the lack of privacy. The project's goal is to develop a wallet that is accessible by Tor browser and will be used in the Anonymous E-Market Place. The Ethereum Meta Foundation manages all expenses and funding for the development of Ethereum Meta, ensuring full transparency towards the community on the costs and funding of the project. The funding of the development currently occurs in three ways: funding by admins, contributions, and donations. The project is still under development and may undergo changes over time.
