COIN was founded by a diverse and experienced team of technology veterans from the information technology, financial, and blockchain industries. The founder and CEO, Damon Nam, is a former IT services professional at Microsoft with 17 years of experience. He held multiple management roles at a large software company. The CTO, Byron Levels, is an experienced technologist who has worked for many Fortune 500 companies, including Microsoft, Pepsi, and American Airlines. He has a strong background in developing and deploying enterprise applications. Currently, COIN has a maximum supply of 100M tokens, with approximately 49M of the tokens circulating. The remainder of the tokens are distributed in the network’s staking reserve and a liquidity pool.
