BitScreener (BITX) is a finance-focused, blockchain-powered unified platform for cryptocurrency and stock tracking. According to the whitepaper, the platform combines data from individual stock and crypto markets into a single platform, allowing traders to track their holdings across domains seamlessly. Simultaneously, writers and researchers can contribute new content to the platform in exchange for rewards.

BitScreener uses the blockchain's incentivization mechanism to increase user engagement and content quality. The data subsystem's visualization tools (charts, tables, news, and so on) assist writers in quickly creating new content within the platform. Once the content by writers gets published, the newly generated content is transparently evaluated for rewards by the community. The platform's two subsystems, data and decentralized content, are weaved together, making BitScreener a unique ecosystem that evolves over time. The whitepaper states that BitScreener aims to track 2,000+ cryptos, 100,000+ stocks, and thousands of other equities in real-time for its community worldwide.

The platform aims to offer solutions for problems like unfair profit sharing, biased information, fragmented financial data system and community content system, and fragmented stock and crypto domains. In addition, the platform aims to evaluate certain users' social activities, like writing a well-researched article, editing a post, or upvoting/downvoting a piece of information. After evaluation, users' actions are translated into points called BitScreener Points (BSP) based on how their actions benefit the community. Later, the points get converted into an Ethereum-based BitScreener Token (BITX) that users can hold in Ethereum wallets. Furthermore, the points or tokens can be used to unlock advanced platform features that normally can be purchased with traditional currency.

The native token of BitScreener is represented as BITX. The token is used as a payment method to purchase advanced features of the ecosystem. The users need to store their BSPs for a while before being able to convert them into a BITX token. The platform's concept is to encourage the community to contribute more to the long-term growth of the ecosystem.
