It allows online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without the need for a trusted third party. This makes it possible for any two willing parties to transact directly with each other, eliminating the need for a trusted third party. Transactions that are computationally impractical to reverse would protect sellers from fraud, and routine escrow mechanisms could easily be implemented to protect buyers. This allows BTCT to be used in a variety of transaction types, from large to small scale.

The concept of Bitcoin TRC20 is based on the original Bitcoin white paper by Satoshi Nakamoto, which proposed a solution to the double-spending problem using a peer-to-peer network. This concept was then adapted to create BTCT, a token that operates on the TRC20 protocol and is fully supported by Bitcoin.
